Meet the Freya High-Octane Maximum Support Sports Bra

Taking inspiration from Freya favourite Epic, the high impact sports bra provides an even more comfortable fit through it's fine tuning. Improved design features include wider set straps, silicone wire casing and moulded inner cups to prevent rubbing.

"Super happy with the Freya high octane bra, thank you! Really supportive, hardly notice it’s there (how many bras can you say that about)."

When it comes to high-performance activities, I know that finding a sports bra to match the support and comfort that's needed is everything.

The Freya High-Octane ticks a lot boxes:

  • Breathable moulded cups that provide a natural shape
  • Cups that seperate with no uni-boob
  • The J-hook is easy to convert as it sits higher up the back
  • Silicone padded wire casing
  • Large cup sizing

"I recently purchased the Freya High Octane and have found it great. The straps are wide and padded so don't dig in and the full cup means zero spillage!! I have a very active job and work with horses everyday, often riding. I have found this bra very supportive and fine to wear all day long without being annoying."

Why customers love the Freya High-Octane:

    • Moulded seam-free cups, perforated for breathability
    • Silicone padded wire casing for extra comfort
    • Soft fold over elastic on neckedge and underarms
    • Breathable outer fabric for cool comfort
    • Bagged out inner cup seams for comfort
    • Soft hook and eye panel for extra comfort
    • Built-up padded straps for comfort and support
    • J Hook fastening allows racer back option with quick and easy dressing
    • Fabric composition: 23% Polyamide, 16% Elastane, 61% Polyester
    • Care instructions: we always recommend hand washing your sports bras

"I love this sports bra and can recommend to all sizes. No mono boob, awesome support and very comfortable. Have been running and gyming with no issues."

Alisa's Fitting Tips Here’s what to know before you order:

    1. Moulded cups = no mono-boob
This bra has lightly padded, moulded cups that give each boob its own designated seat. Great if you hate the “uni-boob” look and want a more lifted, separated shape—especially under workout gear.

    2. Underwire sits firm and low
The encapsulated underwire gives excellent individual support, but it does sit lower than some full-coverage bras. Make sure you "swoop and scoop" to bring all breast tissue into the cup so nothing spills over the top.

    3. It’s a structured fit—don’t size down
The high-compression fabric and firm band offer serious support for high-impact movement. But because it’s a snug, structured bra, don't be tempted to size down—it’ll feel restrictive if too tight. Stick to your usual Freya bra size or get fitted if unsure.

    4. Racerback option is great—if it fits
The convertible J-hook lets you clip the straps into a racerback for extra hold, especially handy for running or HIIT. But if you have broader shoulders or a shorter torso, this might feel a bit tight under the arms—something to test if you plan to use the J-hook regularly.

    5. No stretch in the cup = stable support
The moulded cups and non-stretch panels mean you won’t get a lot of give. That’s a good thing for bounce control, but if your size fluctuates or you’re between cup sizes, go with the larger one for better comfort.
